Program Support Assistant

Saskia is an engineering educator and researcher with an academic background in biomedical engineering and engineering education. As the Program Support Assistant for C4, Saskia collaborates with other members of the program's leadership team to support the delivery of the program and to address student concerns. Saskia has also been on the teaching team for multiple engineering design courses at U of T for the past few years, and is on the organizing team for multiple science-outreach events and initiatives across Canada. Her research interests include engineering culture and social and ecological justice within engineering education. She is excited about supporting C4 because the inter-Faculty inter-disciplinary approach offers an opportunity to challenge normative assumptions about discipline-based education.
