Individual Bookings

Dorm rooms are available to guests every summer between mid-May and mid-August.

We offer discounted rates for group bookings of 10 or more people when rooms are being booked by an organization or department and paid on one account.

If you are interested in staying 30 nights or more as a visiting faculty member or researcher, check out York Suites.

Traditional Dormitory Rooms

If you are looking for our most affordable accommodation option, we offer traditional dormitory rooms in our student residence, suitable for those on a budget. The residence consists of single and double occupancy rooms with several single-person washroom facilities available to all guests on each floor.

All rooms are furnished with a twin bed, dresser, closet, desk and chair; double rooms contain two of each of the listed items. Rooms are not equipped with telephones.

Suite-style Rooms

Our self-contained suite option offers 2 single occupancy rooms in a suite, ideal for guests requiring more privacy.

Our suite-style option contains two single bedrooms and a private washroom accessible only by the suite's occupants. Each bedroom is furnished with a single bed, desk and large wardrobe. A sink and fridge are included in the suite and a microwave is available in the lobby. Rooms are not equipped with telephones.

We rent out our rooms every summer between mid-May and mid-August.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or debit card. We do not accept cash payments. Payments are non-refundable.

Yes, however it is not included in the rates. As rates and parking lot availability can change throughout our operating season, please contact Parking Services at 416-736-5335 for information.

You may stay for 1 night only or up to 14 nights (2 weeks).

Check-in time begins at 3:00 p.m. on your arrival date. Please ensure you arrive before 10:00 p.m. when our office closes, as we cannot accommodate late arrivals. While we will do our best to accommodate early check-in requests, we cannot guarantee them.

Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. on your departure date. While we will do our best to accommodate late check-out requests, we cannot guarantee them. We can arrange to have your luggage stored in a secure location if we are not able to accommodate a late check-out.

Guests must contact us at least 48 hours prior to their scheduled check-in to cancel their booking at no charge.

Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation or who provide less than 48 hours notice will be charged the equivalent of one night’s accommodation.

We do not pair guests together. When booking a double room, both guest names must be provided at the time of booking. Guests travelling on their own can book a suite to have to themselves or can book a single traditional dormitory room.

No, cooking is not permitted in any of our residence buildings.
