
Valentina is a research assistant at Global Food System & Policy Research and is completing her Honours BA in global health, specializing in health policy, systems & management at York University. With a strong commitment to improving health and well-being, her studies have focused on various topics including health promotion, policy, systems, patient safety, and quality improvement.
Valentina has gained valuable experience through internships and volunteer work in healthcare settings such as UHN, Mackenzie Health Hospital, and Student Counselling, Health & Well-being at York University. Her ultimate goal is to become a leader in healthcare management by working towards creating sustainable and equitable health systems that provide high-quality care for all, regardless of background or socioeconomic status.
