Recipe by :
1 can (19 oz) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
- Preheat oven to 450◦F
- Place rinsed and drained chickpeas in a bowl. Add salt and olive oil. Stir to coat chickpeas.
- Pour chickpeas on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes (or until crispy), shaking the tray halfway though
- Remove from oven. Season with your favourite spices and enjoy as a snack, salad topper, or in a wrap.
Tips: Boost flavour with a spice blend!
Turmeric Lime: 1/2 teaspoon ginger + 2 teaspoons turmeric + juice of 1 lime
Ranch: 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme + 1 teaspoon onion powder + 1 teaspoon dried dill + 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder + 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Spiced Maple: 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne + 1 teaspoon chili powder + 2 tablespoons maple syrup
