Overview
The Clara Thomas Doctoral Scholarship in Canadian Studies is designed to provide support for full-time doctoral students in the Graduate Program in English who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in the field of Canadian Literature, have successfully completed their comprehensive examinations and are embarked on the research for and/or writing a dissertation in the field of Canadian Literature.
This award was named in honour of Clara Thomas (1919-2013), a distinguished founding member of the Department of English and an eminent scholar, biographer, critic, advocate and teacher of Canadian Literature.
