Research Interests
Dr. Bohr's research group focuses on the wellbeing and optimal development of infants, children, youth and their parents. We study attachment and parenting practices in diverse cultural contexts, including migration, and Indigenous/rural, as well as digital cultures. We are interested in prevention and interventions that optimize mental health in all youth, especially youth who live in remote regions with little access to evidence informed resources. Dr. Bohr's team is currently working on the development of culturally-specific CBT-based video games that may be useful in the provision of digital online interventions to Indigenous youth in Northern communities.
