Job Description:
We’re looking for a self-motivated, creative, and organized Creative Development & Communications Coordinator to support our Founder and Producer in developing new projects and pitching them to broadcasters, production companies, and funding partners. You’ll help build promotional and pitch materials, manage website and social content updates, do targeted research, and support coordination tasks.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in the development of creative and promotional materials (pitch decks, one-pagers, and visual treatments)
-Update and maintain the company website
-Draft and schedule social media posts that highlight the company’s projects, partners, and public-facing activities
Conduct research on emerging topics, themes, and funding sources related to the company’s creative work
-Help coordinate meetings and schedules for the Founder/Producer and partner executives (occasional executive assistant duties)
-Support administrative and creative tasks related to business development and funding applications
-Other duties as assigned, every week is a little different!

Qualifications:
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills – sure, we can all use ChatGPT for copy and comms, but how do you creatively leverage AI in promotional materials and across communications channels that is authentic and story-driven?!
- Comfortable using or learning tools like Canva, Google Docs, GoDaddy (or other website builders), and social media platforms (Instagram and LinkedIn)
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Proactive, curious, and passionate about storytelling, film/TV, digital media, and/or arts and culture
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on tasks
Additional Assets:
- This is an ideal role for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in creative project development, promotions, and media communications.
- Previous experience in content creation, marketing, design, and/or media production is a plus but not required.
- Include any relevant work samples or links (if you have them!).
