Customs Clearance

To ensure compliance to the Canadian Border Services Agency legislation Procurement Services monitors all custom clearance (import/export) that relates to York University. This is to avoid monetary penalties due to improper preparation of import and export transactions made on the University's behalf.

Thompson Ahern International is York University's Canadian Customs Broker. Procurement Operations works closely with Thompson Ahern International in managing the daily customs brokerage activities for the University.
