Responding to RFPs at York: Part 1

Responding to a competitive bid is a big undertaking. Often, when something goes to a public competitive tender, there’s a large price tag associated with the work. As a public-sector organization, we need to make sure we’re getting the best value for the University and taxpayer’s money. This tool outlines the most requested documents in a competitive tender.

Responding to RFPs at York: Part 2

This tool is designed to complement the tender document vendor partners will encounter if they have downloaded the document from Merx. This is where we post all of our competitive tenders over $100,000. You must have an account to respond to the bid. Once you download the tender documentation, please ensure you have read the sections outlining deadlines and communications for guidance on how to submit the documents requested in the Tender and key dates you’ll need to be aware of.

Creating positive change

In 2019, York University became one of the first universities in Canada to pass a social procurement policy. Through this policy, vendors involved in building Markham Campus are being drawn from the local community and equity-deserving residents are being employed.

The premise is simple: as York University benefits, local communities should share in the success. Join us in creating positive change at https://www.yorku.ca/markham/
