WHAT WE DO
The Science Engagement Programs office at York University offers innovative and engaging programs designed to inspire youth to discover exciting topics in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Our programs take place within the Faculty of Science at the Keele Campus of York University, as well as in schools, community centres, and other educational institutions.

PROGRAMS FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Our programs explore topics in STEM through engaging and interactive activities and experiments, with a hands-on approach to learning.
PA Day Program
Our in-person PA Day Program offers engaging science activities and interactive experiments, with before- and after-camp care available. For grades 3 and up.
Our in-person Saturday Program runs on select dates, focused on particular themes such as robotics, chemistry, human biology and more. For grades 3 and up.
Online Fall/Winter Workshops
Our Online Workshops, held on select Tuesday/Thursday evenings during the school year, are live and involve guided, hands-on activities. For grades 5 and up.
Our in-person March Break Science Camps offer interactive and innovative activities, with before- and after-camp care available. For grades 3 and up.
We offer a variety of week-long thematic programs, including our in-person Science Explorations Summer Day Camps, and our live and hands-on Online Summer Science Programs. For grades 3 and up.

2023 Science Rendezvous
Science Rendezvous is an annual family festival that takes science out of the lab and onto the streets across Canada. Get ready to join the fun on May 13th, 2023!
Community Science Club
Our free Science Clubs offer hands-on STEM experiences for the Jane and Finch community. They are held on the York University campus.
Our in-school workshops complement regular classroom instruction and directly support the learning expectations of the Ontario Elementary Curriculum. For grades 3-8.
