Junior Science & Engineering (Grade 3/4)

Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm | Course Fee: $325.00 | Before and After-Care Available

Every day is different! Join us for a week of STEM where campers will investigate different scientific properties and participate in many interactive hands-on activities and workshops such as:

  • Utilize the engineering design process and work in teams to construct a catapult;
  • Extract and view DNA from strawberries and bananas;
  • Investigate how water moves in plants by creating your own colourful carnation;
  • Save your egg astronaut by building them a device to safely land back to Earth unharmed;
  • and more!

Intermediate Science & Engineering (Grade 5/6)

Intermediate campers will investigate physical properties related to science and engineering by:

  • Discover the electromagnetic spectrum by examining x-rays;
  • Explore structural engineering by designing and building a rollercoaster;
  • Investigate natural selection and biodiversity with Darwin’s finches;
  • Challenge your chemical and technical skills to devise the best bubble making machine;
  • and much more!

Senior Science & Engineering (Grade 7/8)

Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm | Course Fee: $325.00 | Before and After-Care Available

New technological marvels are discovered every day! Senior campers will:

  • Learn all about the cardiovascular system;
  • Exploring aerodynamics to engineer their own gliders;
  • Utilize an assay to correctly identify various chemical reactions;
  • and many other challenging and engaging STEM workshops!

Daily Schedule

A typical day consists of 2 to 4 experiments and activities. There are two 15-minute breaks (morning and afternoon) and one 1-hour lunch for students to use the washrooms, have a snack, and enable camp staff to implement camp room cleaning procedures.

Lunch is not provided, and will be held indoors. We recommend using ice packs for your child's lunch, as we do not have the facilities to refrigerate lunches.

Allergies are an increasing concern, particularly nut allergies. We do implement a nut-safe lunch policy for the safety of our campers. We ask that you pack nut-free lunches for all campers.

Before- and After-Care
