The weather was perfect in Toronto for an afternoon of tree planting in celebration of Earth Month on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
Mark Terry’s Youth Climate Report research project was a proud sponsor that oversaw the planting of more than 100 trees on York’s two campuses, Glendon and Keele.
Mike Layton, York’s new Chief Sustainability Officer, and Nicole Arsenault of York’s Sustainability Office, greeted nearly 75 participants including Dahdaleh researchers Nilanjana Ganguli, Michael De Santi, Chloe Clifford Astbury, and Yuliya Chorna – they were happy to get their hands dirty with friends, colleagues, and students at York.
Our members helped to create positive change with a greener campus!
