The Ontario College of Teachers wants to hear from you.
The College is reviewing an application for the general accreditation of the BEd program offered by York University and is providing the public an opportunity to share input related to the quality of the program.
Input about what?
The College welcomes your thoughts, concerns or praise about the quality of the consecutive and concurrent programs of professional education leading to a degree with areas of study in:
- Primary/Junior; Junior/Intermediate; and Intermediate/Senior divisions
- Primary/Junior divisions with a focus on teaching French as a Second Language
- Primary/Junior for persons of First Nation, Métis or Inuit ancestry
- Technological Education (grades 9/10 and 11/12)
- Technological Education (grades 9/10 and 11/12) and one General Education subject
Who can provide input?
A teacher candidate in the program, a faculty member, an associate teacher, or an interested member of the community.

When is the deadline?
The College will be accepting comments until September 18, 2025.
