Personal Automobile
- Personal automobile use is only recommended for short journeys and when possible, carpooling is recommended to minimize the cost of travel.
- Personal automobile used for business travel will be reimbursed only by way of an all inclusive mileage rate. Refer to Appendix A - Meal Rate and Other Travel Allowances for the current rate.

Rental Vehicles
- When renting a vehicle the standard is a mid size car.
- The University has negotiated preferred rates through the Canadian Association of University Business Officers (CAUBO). For current rates for car rentals visit the CAUBO website.
