Sharing Black History Month Stories

York's Master of Public Policy, Administration and Law (MPPAL) graduate student Christene Simpson Downer hosted the Black History month lunch and learn at her co-op placement with FSRA (Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario). Christene presented on the Life and Legacy of Lincoln Alexander and what Black History Month means to her. She was contacted by the Canadian Congress on Inclusion and Diversity who connected her to Senator Don Oliver. Senator Oliver is the first Black male to sit in Senate.
