Jane Rowe was appointed to the Board of Governors on July 1, 2015 and serves as a member of the Investment Committee.

Ms Rowe heads Teachers’ Private Capital, the private equity arm of Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Canada's largest single-profession pension plan with $154 billion in net assets. Prior to joining Teachers' in October 2010, she was Executive Vice-President, Special Accounts Management and Retail Credit Risk at Scotiabank, held senior roles at Scotia Merchant Capital Corporation, was President and CEO of RoyNat Capital Inc., and was President and CEO of Scotia Mortgage Corporation.

Jane is an International Advisory Board Member of York University's Schulich School of Business and is on the Board of Trustees for the United Way Toronto. In 2012, she was recognized as one of the Women’s Executive Network’s Top 100 Canada’s Most Powerful Women.

Jane received a B.Comm. (Hons) (’81) from Memorial University, an MBA (‘82) from York University's Schulich School of Business, and has ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
