The final authority on tenure and promotion matters is the Tenure and Promotions Policy, Criteria and Procedures, along with the Alternate Stream Document and Procedures Governing Advancement to Candidacy.  While other documents may be of use to those involved in the tenure and promotion process, they have no official status.
