ON and OFF Campus Locations

Keele Campus


The Faculty of Education offers our Bachelor of Education (BEd), Bachelor of Education (BEd), Technological Education programs in both the Concurrent and Consecutive delivery models at York University’s  Keele campus. The Bachelor of Arts (Educational Studies) is offered on the Keele campus.

Glendon Campus


The Faculty of Education offers our Bachelor of Education (BEd) program in the Concurrent delivery model at York University’s  Glendon campus (with some courses on the Keele campus) for Glendon students who are preparing to teach in Primary-Junior, Junior-Intermediate and Intermediate-Senior levels.  Courses are predominantly delivered in French and school placements are also predominantly offered in French.

Off-Campus Locations


CATHOLIC EDUCATION CENTRE (CEC)

Students who are studying in the Bachelor of Education (BEd) in the Consecutive program model who are interested in teaching at the Primary-Junior or Junior-Intermediate certification levels can apply to study with a cohort; classes will be held at both the Catholic Education Centre (CEC) and the Keele campus.

The CEC is located at the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) office building. The CEC cohort is for Catholic students who wish to teach in Catholic schools. Practicum placements are solely within the Toronto Catholic District School Board.

Please note: Students at the Keele campus location can also request practicum placements in a Catholic school board.

URBAN INDIGENOUS EDUCATION CENTER

Students in the Consecutive program model BEd Waaban Indigenous Education Teacher Education will take courses at the Kapapamahchakwew - Wandering Spirit School of Toronto - 16 Phin Avenue accessible by TTC (Donlands subway station).

Please note: Applicants may identify their preferred location when they are applying to the program. The Faculty of Education assigns successful applicants to study in a particular location; there is no guarantee that requests to change locations can be accommodated.
