Note: Tours will be cancelled if the temperature/humidex exceeds 31°C, or if the temperature/windchill falls below -20°C. When possible, we will provide at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellations.
YorkU Prospective Graduate Student Tours
Join our graduate recruitment team for a walking tour of York’s Keele campus. The tour will showcase key buildings and spaces relevant to graduate students and provide an overview of what Graduate School at York has to offer. Tours are offered several times each term, and advance registration is required. After registering, you’ll receive detailed instructions on where to check in for your tour.

What To Expect
DURATION: Tours usually run 60–90 minutes, with time during and after for questions. Tours depart promptly at 5 minutes past the scheduled start time (e.g., a 2:00 pm tour will leave at 2:05 pm EST).
WEATHER & ATTIRE: Tours take place both indoors and outdoors, so please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
WATER: We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle. While we don’t provide water, we’ll be happy to point out refill stations along the route.
PROGRAM OFFICES: This is a general campus tour showcasing main buildings and points of interest for graduate students. Individual program offices and classrooms are not included, but we’ll gladly provide directions for later visits.
ATTENDEES: Tours may include prospective and incoming graduate students, along with their parents, partners, and other guests. Children are welcome.
How To Get Here
For your on-campus tour, please arrive at check-in approximately 10 minutes before the tour departure time.
TAKING PUBLIC TRANSIT: The closest TTC subway station is York University Station (building #100 on the campus map). When exiting the Station, stay to the right. Entrance to York Lanes Offices is approximately a five minute walk from the Station. We recommend using Google Maps to get walking instructions from your transit stop.
DRIVING TO CAMPUS: Please explore parking information and options. Whether you are parking in a visitor lot, on-street, or in one of our garages, download the HonkMobile App in advance to make a payment. Note: There is a parking garage attached to the York Lanes Offices (building #24 on the campus map).
