Text Mining and Data Analysis in Financial Domain

Project Description:
In this project, the student will be responsible for:
- automatic detection & extraction of all the relevant numbers and texts from available financial documentation;
- write a code to adjust those numbers based on the best practices in the field; and
- test the code on different companies.
The student will be directed to the right data sources and provided guidance along the way to show exactly what information needs to be extracted and analyzed. The objective of this project is to build a clean and comprehensive dataset which will be used as input to a predictive ML algorithm.
