Marissa Miller

Cale Simpson

Cale is in his fourth year at York in the Creative Writing program. He’s been involved with VCP over the past couple years both in productions and behind the scenes. He is very happy to be joining the Work Study team as the technical director for set.   

Ayat Reza

Ayat Reza (any) is a first year in Cinema and Media Arts. While more used to taking behind the scenes roles, they’ve started branching out to let their own work be seen as well. The Hub was a good opportunity to meet likeminded peers and be able to contribute to the community, especially as a first year student. 

Tiara Suluma

Tiara Tirei is a fourth-year Communications and Media student with a cinema minor. After spending all four years with VCP and the BIPOC artist’s hub, they took on the task of stage management. She is happy to be back and helping Alex and the artists with their work.

Alex Jyn-Li Cairns Celebre

Alex Cairns Celebre is so honoured to be directing the BIPOC’s Artist Showcase for the 4th year in a row! Content producer for TSN’s The Shift with Kayla Grey by day and In-Arena host at night, Alex loves her jobs in sports but is so thrilled to keep intact with her creative roots with VCP!
