IN THE MEDIA: How Toronto families are adjusting to schooling at home, from historical films to dog walking

As schools are shut down amid the COVID-19 pandemic, parents are looking for ways to keep their kids learning and physically active.

“It’s a potentially stressful time for everybody. Let’s not look for opportunities to raise the anxiety level,” says Faculty of Education Associate Professor Ippolito. ““If 100 years of academic theorizing and research tells us anything, it’s that kids don’t stop learning just because they’re out of school.”
