Access and Usage
- Users may access these facilities depending on the scheduled classes. All ED students, both graduate and undergraduate, share these facilities, and priority is for teaching purposes.
- Classroom computers can be accessed with a valid Passport York account
- Rooms with a Crestron audio-video control system can be activated with a passcode. Please see contact information below if you require a passcode.
At end of class
- Upon completion of classes, please log out of technology and, remove all teaching materials, and leave the classroom in a professional and accessible condition for subsequent users.
- At the end of class, please ensure windows and doors are securely closed, tables are organized according to the provided diagrams and all possessions and waste materials are properly disposed of.

- Users needing assistance with software installations for academic purposes or requiring modifications to computer stations should contact the ED Technology Services.
Lab Policies and Procedures
- Computer labs are exclusively for members of the Faculty of Education, including current students, staff, and faculty.
- Academic work takes precedence, and equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Users should not leave their belongings unattended and should not attempt to reserve computers by leaving belongings around them.
- Please maintain courtesy and decorum within the lab premises, including avoiding loud conversations, offensive language, and viewing of inappropriate materials.
- Please do not bring food or drink into the labs.

- In addition to the spaces listed here which are exclusively for the Faculty of Education community, York-wide facilities are available, including labs at William Small Centre (WSC) and Accolade East (ACE).
