Overview

The John A. Livingston Ecological Conscience and Nature Advocacy Award is available to a graduate student in the Master or PhD programs in the Faculty of Environmental Studies. This award has been established in memory of Professor Emeritus John A. Livingston, naturalist and internationally renowned writer on natural history and natural philosophy. Professor Livingston was a key player in the development of the Faculty of Environmental Studies and a prominent figure in biological conservation in Canada. Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, Ontario residents*, and demonstrate financial need.
