Peter Tsasis
Peter Tsasis is a Professor of Management, jointly appointed to the Faculty of Health and the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, and a member of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto and an MBA in Management. Dr. Tsasis states that since joining York in 2005, he has developed his governance experience through service on the Senate and Senate Executive, demonstrating a strong understanding of collegial governance grounded in academic freedom, equity, and social responsibility.
Dr. Tsasis has received multiple honours for his research which focuses on interorganizational collaboration, learning health systems, organizational change, and advancing the use of complex systems science in healthcare. Dr. Tsasis is a recognized leader in the field and is an advocate for patient-centered healthcare. He holds leadership roles with the York Institute for Health Research, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
