Website project

As part of our commitment to continually improve our service to students and graduate program offices, the Office of the Dean, Graduate Studies has undertaken a multi-year project to develop a modern and increasingly user-friendly website.

If you have been using our site over the past while, you likely know that we already improved our graphic design, reduced the clutter and brought more information above the fold. We launched new sections for Graduate Studies News and Events & Deadlines, providing our students and programs a central source for news and information. Most dramatically, we restructured our site so you more easily access information most important to you.

In the coming months, we will continue implementing enhancements to our site, including some that will dramatically improve the way you use our website and access our services. This multi-year project is, however, only a new beginning. We strive to make continual progress to ensure our site is dynamic, and you can help.

Would you like to be featured in our student profiles or faculty profiles and share your compelling research or an exciting professional contribution? Submit your profile to tell the world about the great things you’re doing at York.

Do you have amazing graduate scholarship, research, award or other news to announce? Do you need to publicize an interesting call for papers, a conference or a performance? Do you want to spread the word about an exciting graduate funding opportunity? Submit a news item to Graduate Studies News to share it with the Graduate Studies community.

Do you have questions or comments about our website project? Feel free to email fgsnews@yorku.ca to have your say. We may take a few days to get back to you, but we read every message and will respond as soon as we can.

Finally, we understand that as pages move and whole new sections appear, you will be finding things again, and we appreciate your patience as we make these upgrades. Working together, we are building better services for our students, staff and faculty.
