Education Resource Centre (ERC) access for Markham‑based courses
For courses offered at the Markham campus, Education Resource Centre (ERC) materials may be requested in advance and picked up at the Markham Campus Library. This option supports teaching and learning in Faculty of Education programs delivered at Markham and allows students and instructors to access ERC resources without travelling to Keele.
ERC items are requested through York University Libraries’ Omni system. When placing a request, users select Markham as the pickup location. An email notification is sent when the item is ready for pickup, and materials are held at the Markham circulation desk for a limited period. Normal ERC loan policies apply.
This service is available to Faculty of Education students, instructors, and graduate students. Course reserve items and non‑circulating materials are excluded and must be used at the ERC. Course Directors are encouraged to remind students to plan ahead when ERC materials are required for assignments or class activities.
