Dundas Life is a fast-growing fintech startup on a mission to help Canadians find the right insurance coverage for their needs (100% digitally!).

Our founding team started Dundas Life in 2020 with the goal of making life insurance easy, the right fit and affordable. Our own paper ridden, inconsistent experiences within the insurance industry pushed us to create a better solution. The industry is riddled with horror stories including advisors positioning the wrong product or looking after their own needs over client needs. We decided to change that.

At Dundas Life, we provide products that are customized for each customers’ specific goals. With no high-pressure sales tactics, no unnecessary paperwork, and a leading digital-first experience, we ensure Canadians get the right coverage right from the comfort of their home.

Job Description:

Content Marketing

  • Support the content planning, creation, and distribution process across varying channels and formats.

Search Engine Optimization

  • Learn and apply basic principles of SEO (search engine optimization) strategies to maximize website's online visibility.

Email Marketing

  • Create email marketing automations and flows for new leads. Help them to learn about the benefits of life insurance and Dundas Life, eventually helping them to become customers.

Analytics

  • Measure performance and ROI of your initiatives using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Ahrefs and provide suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of broadcast media.
  • Ability to research and summarize research findings clearly; and
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficient in both oral and written communication;
  • Punctual and professional in their approach to the work assigned;
  • Willing to experiment with new approaches to communication and media.

Additional Assets:

  • Resourceful: You're resourceful and love the idea of being a critical part of a small scrappy team trying to find creative ways to take on a massive, antiquated insurance industry.
  • Graphic Design: You have experience creating designs or videos in Photoshop, Canva, Veed, or similar software.
