The Al & Malka Green Artists’ Health Centre is a clinic in the Department of Family and Community Medicine within University Health Network (UHN). The Centre is the only clinic of its kind in Canada that specializes in serving artists of all disciplines. The Centre is an integrative outpatient clinic offering both integrative healthcare. The Centre’s team specializes in addressing the specific healthcare needs of artists through providing a holistic approach to health and conducting research to inform health services the Centre provides.

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Engagement Assistant that can help the Centre boost our presence online and in the community. Collaborating with the community engagement team, you will be involved in social content creation, focus groups, research, and various outreach and engagement tasks. This role offers flexibility to help you in your professional development. If there is a specific area you’d like to focus on, the Centre is happy to work with you so you can reach your career goals. This is primarily a remote/work-from-home role, but may be required to work on-site once per month.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience with various social media channels and social advertising.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Willing to experiment with new approaches to communication and media.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and organize time effectively.

Additional Assets:

  • An interest in working in the health or arts and cultural sector.
  • Willing to learn.
  • A knowledge of Photoshop, SurveyMonkey, and/or Canva is an asset.
