Displaying and describing distributions; relations in categorical data; Simpson's paradox and the need for design; experimental design and sampling design; randomization; probability laws and models; central limit theorem; statistical inference including confidence intervals and tests of significance; matched pairs; simulation. Prerequisite: At least one 12U mathematics course or equivalent is recommended.
