AP/PRWR 2010 3.00 Writing and Artificial Intelligence
This course explores how artificial intelligence is neither the savior nor the death knell of writing. Instead, it examines AI as a writing technology that offers both benefits and challenges like those of previous writing technologies, including the printing press, personal computers, mobile applications, and social media. It surveys the histories and current trajectories of writing and AI to prepare students to be ethical users and creators within digital writing spaces increasingly mediated by artificial intelligence.
