Position Title: Digital Marketing Adminstrator

Job Description:

We are hiring a digital marketing administrator to support the development of digital material for the Heart, Lung and Vascular (HLV) Program. This position is being offered to a 4th year university student. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, be highly creative and able to translate written material and concepts created by our clinical teams into visually appealing, easy to navigate web content. The administrator will gain valuable experience to support their professional growth, develop marketable skills and learn about digital media in the healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. They will be assigned to specific projects and tasks, and will be required to present deliverables to the program’s leadership team.

They will report to the Senior Clinical Program Director of the Heart, Lung and Vascular (HLV) Program. Your primary responsibilities will include performing various digital marketing and communication duties while serving as a vital link between the HLV Program and Unity Health Toronto’s (UHT) Media Relations team.

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Media & Communications or Marketing program at an accredited college or university.
  • Possess strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, producing accurate work with efficient turnaround time.
  • Exercise a high degree of professionalism and communication with confidential information.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and critical thinking.
  • Strong communication skills with a proven track record of interacting effectively with others.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team in a demanding environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Displays commitment to and understanding of the Mission and Values of St. Michael's Hospital.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
