20th-Century French Literature: Critical Insights into Modernism
This course explores the major literary currents in French literature, especially as they relate to modernism during the first half of the 20th century. Topics include surrealism, existentialism, and an examination of questions of conscience and an examination of the role of the unconscious in fiction.
Prerequisites: AP/FR 2200 6.00 (with a minimum grade of C).
Course credit exclusions: AP/FR 4350 6.00.
