For year 2016-17 

• We are currently full.  Applications for a change were accepted between February 1, 2017 and May 1, 2017. If your application was unsuccessful, please set up an advising appointment with Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies Academic Advising Centre to select another major.

For 2017- 2018

Please apply online starting February 1, 2017. The deadline is May 1, 2017. 

Students applying to change their major to  LASO must have a minimum GPA of 5.0.  Having a GPA of 5.0 does not guarantee admission as spaces in the program are limited and will be awarded competitively based on GPA. Once you have applied online, please send an email to laso@yorku.ca indicating that you have applied for the change.

• Approved change of majors will be processed by approximately June 6th, 2017. Starting June 6th, please check your change of major status via your Passport York account.
