Participatory Learning: 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. on Tues. Sept. 19th

In this session, we’ll look at a framework for organizing classes that will help you embed participation throughout, focusing on the different purposes for participation in class. We’ll use some features in Zoom so you can experience them as a participant that will help you decide which you may want to try in your own classes.

Grading Strategies: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Tues. Oct. 24th

This webinar will discuss marking and grading principles like types of formative and summative grading practices, validity and reliability issues, as well as offer participants practical strategies for grading with rubrics. It will also discuss strategies you can use as a marker/grader to meet student expectations.
