Nancy Sanders
Following a lengthy career in the Ontario Public Service, Nancy is currently an Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration at York University teaching courses in Canadian Government and Sociology of Law. In addition, she is Chair of the Board of Directors of Oak Valley Health (Markham Stouffville and Uxbridge hospitals). Nancy served as the former Assistant Deputy Minister( ADM) in the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General where she established and led the Modernization Division, having earlier served as the ADM of Operations in the Ministry of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Previously, she was the Executive Director of Ontario Provincial Schools. She is a graduate of the Queen’s Smith School of Business in Public Sector Leadership, is certified in Negotiation and Alternative Dispute Resolution mediation and holds a PhD from the University of Toronto. Nancy has been the recipient of numerous OPS awards including the Ontario Premier’s leadership Award.
