The future of learning is coming to York Region. Construction is well underway for York’s long-awaited Markham Campus, which will welcome our first students in an upcoming academic term.

Markham Campus will embed York in the heart of one of the most diverse and dynamic communities in Canada. It’s an ideal home for a community of positive changemakers, with opportunities for students and faculty to collaborate directly with employers, startups and community partners to right the future.

Physically, Markham Campus will accommodate 4,200 students and is being designed to facilitate collaboration between programs and faculties. This will promote unexpected connections, bringing people together to create positive change. Markham Campus will also be co-located with YSpace and the IBM Innovation Space — Markham Convergence Centre. Students who call York Region home can now study close by, with easy access to transit on campus.
