Faculty of Education
In addition to offering programs from the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, Lassonde School of Engineering, School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design, Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Graduate Studies, York University’s Markham Campus is also proud to host the Faculty of Education’s Bachelor of Education (BEd) program during the 2025–26 and 2026–27 academic years.
This reflects a broader, province-wide effort to expand access to teacher education programs in response to increased demand for qualified educators, supported through recent government investment in growing Ontario’s teaching workforce.
