Social Orientation Week
Familiarize yourself with the Markham Campus and the York community through social events brought to you by your Markham Student Council! Spaces are limited and registration is required.

Undergraduate Academic Orientation
We invite incoming undergraduate students at the Markham Campus to attend our Undergraduate Academic Orientation event on Tuesday, September 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration is required.

Welcome YU
Join us throughout September for our beginning-of-the-year event, Welcome YU. Featuring four themed weeks of events, activities, and fairs to help you make connections and get settled into the community!
No registration required.

| Program Session | 11:00 a.m. | Learn from faculty members about program requirements, career outcomes, experiential education opportunities, and more! |
| Lunch & First Year Picnic | 1:00 p.m. | The First-Year Picnic brings the entire incoming class together; it’s a great opportunity to make campus memories with new friends. Lunch will be provided. |
| Student Services Showcase: Choose Your Own Adventure! | 2:00 p.m. | Make your way through various “stops” including the Markham Campus Library, Academic Advising, Athletics & Recreation, Student Life, and more. Enjoy fun activities and discover resources to support your success. Don’t miss the pop-up info sessions throughout the Showcase! |
| Community Social | 4:00 p.m. | Join the Markham Campus Community for an evening celebration at our local Milestones! Light refreshments will be provided. |
Bachelor of Education students studying at the Markham Campus will participate in a separate academic orientation organized by the Faculty of Education during the week of August 25.
