On behalf of entire History Department, I'd like to congratulate Amanda, Yvgeni and all the other members of the UHSA Executive for the splendid UHSA conference that you organized on Saturday. It was very professionally run. The programme was impressively broad: from the Ancient world to Marie Antoinette to the Armenian genocide to Turkmenistan to North America. The presentations were all fascinating and well presented, and there was lively discussion. Emily and Victor's "keynote" was very enlightening. The catering was first-class. All in all, a memorable day. Please convey my congratulations and thanks to all other members of the Executive.

The History Department is very proud of the activities and achievements of the UHSA. It's a great organization that contributes much to the vitality of History at York.
