We have just heard that Molly Ladd-Taylor's book, Fixing the Poor, is shortlisted for the 2019 Wallace K. Ferguson Book award. This prestigious prize recognizes the outstanding scholarly book in a field of history other than Canadian history. The winner will be announced on 4 June.

This is already a magnificent accomplishment. Congratulations Molly!
