Dr. Vinu Selvaratnam is an Assistant Professor of Sport Management at York University’s Markham Campus. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) from Toronto Metropolitan University, followed by a Master of Arts (MA) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Waterloo. Dr. Selvaratnam’s research focuses on sport technology and consumer behaviour, with a specific interest in understanding technology adoption, physical activity, recreational sport, and leisure participation. Deeply committed to the next generation of industry leaders, he is passionate about enhancing the student experience and driving positive student outcomes. In his spare time, he enjoys playing and watching sports, working out, reading, and playing poker.
