This course builds on Introduction to Sport Management and provides students with a more in-depth discussion of the principles of management applicable to the administration of sport organizations and innovations, including planning, controlling, organizing, staffing, and directing of the various activities necessary for organizational effectiveness. Students will also discuss the breadth of career opportunities within the sport industry.
