If you are unable to enrol in an SPRT course through the Registration and Enrolment Module (REM), you will need to submit an SPRT Course Permission Request Form which can be found on this page. The form will be submitted for approval and you will receive a response via email within 2-4 business days. Please note that approval is not guaranteed and all requests must be submitted through the Course Permission Form to be considered.

- Review Important Dates ( add/drop deadlines etc).
- No permissions will be granted after the last day to add a course without permission of the instructor.
Exclusions:
- For non-SPRT courses, contact the relevant department or school.
FAQs
Can I ask the Course Director (professor/instructor) for permission to enrol in their course?
Permission requests are handled by the office, not by the Course Director. The office reviews the requests for permission and reaches out to the Course Director if relevant.
While you may ask for permission from the Course Director, please note that their permission is not a guarantee of being granted permission to enroll. Permission to enroll is based on other restrictions or conditions that may apply, for example, maximum course capacity or course prerequisites required.
What happens after I submit my course permission request?
Once you have clicked "submit", your request is forwarded to the office for review. Requests are normally processed within 2-4 business days. You will receive the response (approval or denial) via email. Please plan ahead of deadlines - do not leave your request for the last minute.
Course Instructor permission is not a guarantee of being granted permission to enroll based on other restrictions that may apply (example: maximum allowable enrolments (course is full) or course prerequisites required).
