Director of Regional Planning at Metrolinx

Nick is the Director of Regional Planning at Metrolinx. His team is responsible for planning the Greater Golden Horseshoe region’s integrated transit network. This includes preparing for long term growth and changing travel patterns, implementing fare and service integration programs, and advancing strategic plans and studies in collaboration with municipalities, MTO, and transit agencies. Nick is passionate about the complex interactions between the transit network, regional growth, and economic opportunity.

Prior to joining Metrolinx, Nick had over 10 years of experience as transportation consultant in multi-modal transportation planning and intelligent transportation systems in Canada, the United States, and the Middle East. He holds a Bachelors of Applied Science Degree in Engineering Science and a Masters of Applied Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto.
