Manager of Government and Community Relations, Durham Region

Alison Burgess manages the Government and Community Relations portfolio within the CAO’s office at the Region of Durham. Her work includes the design and implementation of the Intelligent Communities Framework. She came to the Region of Durham from Ontario Tech University. Alison’s background in stakeholder relations and community engagement, combined with her PhD research in neuroscience, allow her to bring a unique perspective to this work.
