Brian Lambie
President of Redbrick Communications and media relations for AMO
Brian Lambie is a communications professional with a long history of working on high profile policy matters. His career started as a public servant, working in education, natural resources, and water and wastewater. As a political assistant, he gained a front-row seat to profound changes in the 1990’s, particularly related to the provincial / municipal relationship, municipal amalgamations, and creation of the City of Toronto. He founded Redbrick Communications in 2002 and provided support related to public consultations on education funding, electoral reform and Ontario’s Provincial Budget. He has spent much of the past two decades serving as a key communications advisor to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO). Today, Redbrick works with about 100 municipal governments a year, and much of Brian’s work relates to helping public servants and politicians achieve progress in an era of misinformation, disinformation and toxic resistance. Brian earned his M.A. in Journalism from Western University.
