Whether through in-person or virtual drop-in appointments or email communication, we are ready to assist you in aligning your career objectives with your program of study, achieving degree requirements, exploring experiential education opportunities, petitioning grades or decisions, or adapting your degree focus.
New Student Advising
As a new student, you must book and attend an enrolment advising appointment prior to gaining access to enrolling into courses. This appointment will help to chart your course and understand your degree requirements.

Crystal Grant is the Associate Director of Student Success & Advising at York University’s Markham Campus, where she provides strategic leadership for advising, career services, and learning skills development. With an MBA in Finance, a BA in Business & Society, and over 15 years of experience in higher education, Crystal is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment equipped with resources that empower students in their academic and career journeys.

Student Success & Academic Advisor
Alison is dedicated to empowering students to achieve their dreams through personalized guidance and unwavering support. She focuses on building strong relationships, identifying strengths, and setting ambitious goals to help students surpass their own expectations. As a York University graduate, Alison understands the academic journey firsthand and is passionate about guiding students from application to graduation.
Min Eng
Student Success & Academic Advisor
For over a decade, Min Eng has advised students from diverse academic, professional and cultural backgrounds on their respective paths to success, regularly co-constructing personalized learning paths for students at various stages of their academic journeys. She believes that people are our greatest resource, each person unique and with immense potential; she loves helping students discover their potential and celebrates with them when they do.

Office: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9 a.m. –12 p.m. and 1 – 4 p.m.
Wednesday: 1 – 4 p.m.
Closed for lunch daily from 12 - 1 p.m.
The last drop-in appointment will be taken at 3:30 PM.
The queue will close for the day once it reaches capacity.
