Orientation Week is your chance to learn about these valuable resources firsthand. From academic advising and career services to mental health support and extracurricular opportunities.
3. Engage in Exciting Events: Orientation Week at Bethune is synonymous with excitement and fun. The jam-packed schedule features a diverse range of events, including theme parties such as Bethune’s Silent DisGLO, cultural celebrations, sporting activities, our formal Boat Cruise event, and calmer events for instance Painting into the Sunset. These events provide a dynamic and inclusive environment where you can let loose, have fun, and relax, enjoying new experiences, before the start of your first year. 
4. Become an Active Member of the Community: This is your chance to enter York as an active member of the community and start your journey, whether you decide to fight injustice through our many clubs, or you want to make a difference for students in the YU community, some may just want to show up to Bethune events and have fun in Jcr and Jacs throughout the year. All in all, we want you to be a part of the community in some way shape, or form.

The first step would be heading over to the Bethune Dragons' website here: https://www.bethunedragons.ca/ and purchasing a kit. Our kit includes a Special T-Shirt that matches Bethune and the theme of O-Week, a branded water bottle to keep folks hydrated, a high-quality drawstring bag, and many more items. This kit is also your entry to O-Week, from there just keep an eye on our Instagram @Bethunecollege for updates on what to expect.
