Dear Bethune College Students,

Welcome to Norman Bethune College! One of our goals at Bethune is to create a warm, supportive and engaged community within the larger university setting. It’s a place where you can connect with other students, get more involved in university life, and obtain academic support. Bethune is here to help you get the most out of your time at York, and to support your academic success. We hope you will come to think of Bethune as your home away from home, a place where you belong and are at ease.

Bethune acts as an academic and social hub for science and engineering students. Here you will find an amazing array of extracurricular activities, student clubs, athletics, off-campus events, and a variety of seminars and lectures. There’s always something happening! Our academic program includes courses and workshops, the Life Sciences Help Centre, the Writing Centre (to help with lab reports and essay writing) and academic advising. Our Bethune College building provides a comfortable place to drop in, relax, have a meal, study, and meet other students, faculty, and staff.
